Malaysia’s favorite snacking company. With over 1,600 employees and three manufacturing plants in Malaysia, is looking for the right candidate to fill the role as Senior Brand Manager.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and manage the relevant marketing plan programme for assigned categories providing sound input into brand strategy, future direction and setting of brand and product objectives
- Manage all aspects of the new product development process for renovation and innovation initiatives in the assigned categories
- Manage, control and administer the marketing expenditure budget for assigned categories, monitoring all spend against budgeted spend and adjust as appropriate
- Manage all aspects of consumer promotions from conception to effectiveness evaluation
- Organise and evaluate market research, scan data, promotions, public relations and advertising in order to understand the key drivers for product/brand performance, continually evaluate performance against the plan and make suggestions for improvements/enhancements to the plan
- Work closely with sales to maximise shelf presence, product positioning and market share and ensure that the sales opportunity is maximised by evaluation and seizing of opportunities
- Lead the forecasting process in association with demand planner and monitor on a monthly basis
- Work with agencies – packaging, advertising, media, research in order to brief and manage projects
- Develop effective interactions within the Marketing team, with other functions and make recommendations to ensure alignment of business objectives and tactics
- Lead and manage staff and actively develop them as individuals and as part of the marketing team
- Recruit staff for the team and coach them to enable continuous improvement. Identify training & development needs, including appraisal of employees four times a year
- Ensure compliance with regulatory authorities and the Company’s Health, Safety & Environment systems, policies and procedures. Identify, control and eliminate hazards. Ensure igh standards of housekeeping maintained and team members trained in health and safety responsibilities
