Responsibilities:
- Responsible for developing and managing the human resources and administrative function of the local office
- Initiate HR strategy, translate the organization strategy & goals and providing leadership for HR management
- Take the lead developing and delivering the HR/People strategy and HR Business Plan objectives, which include workforce planning and review of resourcing procedures
- Collaborate closely with Corporate HR to plan and develop Human Resource programs covering manpower planning, compensation & benefits planning, performance management, employee relations, organization development, succession planning and training and development
- Manage general HR practices such as employee relations, conflict resolution, welfare employee services and counseling, recruitment, staffing, performance management, staff orientation, development and training, compensation and benefits administration
- Ensure effective communication on HR matters across organization and effective use of staff feedback regarding improvements
- Ensure that all activities are in accordance with Compliance standards.
- Facilitate and monitor implementation of marketing strategies to ensure that hiring targets are continuously met to support pipeline through the various Recruitment channels
- Continuously monitor team development and growth to establish teamwork and cooperation at all times.
Requirements:
- University degree in Human Resources Management, Behavioral Science, Business Administration, Industrial Engineering or related disciplines
- Minimum 8 years' experience in leading a HR team
- Demonstrate a proven track record in handling diverse HR issues within a professional services environment and in both strategic and operational human resources management
- Well versed in employment legislation & HR management practices
- Experienced implementing programs and HR procedures in a start-up environment as well as experience in a well established HR department
- Experience of handling employee relations, conflict resolution, welfare employee services and counseling and dealing with union is definitely advantage
- Excellent leadership, planning, problem solving, conflict resolution and negotiation skills
- Good organizational skills with the ability to plan and prioritize, maintain focus and follow-through
- Ability to embrace change through a proactive and supportive approach
